Patriarchy is dying a death and has been for a long time, but society takes time to fully re-program.
The divine masculine and divine feminine work best when they are in balance. Too much divine masculine and we end up with too much competition and control. Too much feminine and we lack structure and logic.
The rise of the divine feminine has seen women move away from the more traditional mothering role and into a more empowered role in society, often juggling motherhood and a career. Over the last decade or more we have seen women speaking out about the imbalance and unfairness in their daily lives. Women are still paid less for doing the same work than men, although awareness has helped shift more towards equality. Many women have started their own flexible businesses filling niches in the market in creative ways.
Divine Feminine Traits:
- Self Expression
Men were discouraged from embodying typical feminine traits for too long and this has lead to an imbalance in ourselves and society. Men often become burnt out, aggressive, sexist and unaware of how to process their emotions in a healthy way, leading to increasing suicide rates.
At the end of the day the mind is the creative power of the universe and men and women are equal on that front, or at least have the ability to be. Men couldn’t have taken power from women if women hadn’t allowed it. Neither gender is to blame here because both are equally powerful and skilled in their own way.
I am glad to see the balance between the two energetic polarities return, as I believe much is to be gained by humans who are standing firmly in their own power and fulfilling their destinies together.
